When you go abroad for a holiday it is always nice to spend a bit of tie getting to know the local people and learning about their way of life. So many of us go on holiday, keep ourselves to ourselves and don’t find out much about how the local people live and the culture etc. This may mean we miss out on a lot and leave the country knowing no more about it than when we first arrived
Many countries are very happy to welcome visitors and the local people are often all too pleased to help you with whatever you need. When staying in another country you need to respect their rules and regulations and show respect to the people living there. Some countries have very strict policies on drinking, relationships and driving etc that if not adhered to can land you in a whole heap of trouble.
The local people will often be able to advise you better on where is great to eat and drink and places of interest to visit and indeed avoid, allowing you to get a true picture of the area rather than reading about it in a brochure.
