Summer Holidays

Are your travel documents protected?

The quantity of paper documents that you need to take with you when you go on holiday abroad has reduced massively in recent years as the majority of travel companies, hotels and airlines accept documents such as booking confirmations and check in documents that are saved on phones or tablets however there are still some travellers that prefer to use paper documents and obviously passports have to be carried at all times whilst travelling and produced when required. There are a number of ways to make sure your documents are kept secure whilst still being easily accessible if needed.

A simple solution is to buy a plastic A5 size zip close wallet to hold your documents. All your paperwork, passports, holiday confirmations and insurance documents can all be kept in one place and should fit easily into a handbag or a pocket in your hand luggage. Additional documents such as boarding passes can be added to the plastic wallet when they are issued ensuring that they too are kept safe.

Once you arrive at your holiday destination it is important to still protect your documentation. The majority of hotels provide a room safe and it is advisable to secure your documents and travel money in the safe during your stay.
