Andreas Some people like to go away for a fun weekend that is action packed from start to finish. If you like theme parks and rides then you have probably exhausted the lies of Alton Towers, but there are so many theme parks across the UK that people have still yet to visit.
Lightwater Valley is a theme park in North Stainley, North Yorkshire. It opened in 1969 but has grown immensely since then and is now one of the best days out in Yorkshire. They offer a wide range of activities from falconry displays and interactive packages, theme park rides, adventure golf through to 160ft bungee jumps.
They also organise a number of themed weekends that are often aimed at young children, meaning that there is literally something for everyone. The park has roller coasters, rides for smaller children and even rapids to keep you entertained, and if you fancy chilling out for a bit then you can jump on the land train that will take you on a lap around the park.
