Andreas It is unfortunate when you go on holiday and you are not very lucky with the weather. The UK weather can be extremely unpredictable so even if you go in the height of summer, you are not necessarily guaranteed good weather.
If you have had a holiday planned that includes lazing by the pool or lapping up the sun on the beach then you may have to rethink what you do. You can waste a lot of time finding activities to do or places to go and it can also mean you end up spending more money than you wanted to.
Ideally have a selection of activities planned that you can do whatever the weather brings. You could plan a trip to an indoor water park, museum or soft play area. There are also places of interest such as castles and stately homes that often open up their doors to the public. If you are going during school holidays then you will often find that they have events on too to keep children and adults entertained.
