Andreas If you are looking for a holiday that won’t cost the earth you may want to consider group bookings. Almost all types of accommodation offer discounts for bookings over a certain number of rooms or people although not all will advertise this upfront.
If you have friends and family that you would be happy to holiday with then why not get your heads together and see if you can agree on a date to go away. Once you have dates and ideal locations call around a few places and ask what deal they could do on a group booking. If it is a hotel then they may require you to book 3 or 4 room’s minimum to allow them to offer you a discount but holiday homes and caravans etc may do a deal for just two. When they offer you a discount, don’t be scared to go back with a slightly lower price, they can only say no and if that is the case you haven’t lost anything but you may save yourself another £50 to go towards a meal out or day trip to a theme park.
