Andreas When you have young children one thing as a parent that you cannot wait to do is take them to the beach. It’s an exciting time as many people have happy childhood memories of days at the beach with the family and it’s something that you want to recreate for your family.
So to make your day enjoyable it’s important to keep the following things in mind:-
Where you go – always try to pick a beach that has amenities close by, this will mean that you will need to take less things to the beach with you and is easier with young children if the car park is close and the toilets are close by.
When you go – if possible it’s always going to be quieter if you can take pre-school children during schools term times, but if not set off nice and early in case you get stuck in traffic.
What you take – now this is the most important! Plan for all eventualities, if it rains it doesn’t have to ruin your day if you have waterproofs with you, you can still enjoy rock-pooling if the weather is bad!
